Do you need high speed connections between two or more buildings where fiber connections are not available?
One of these two solutions might just fit your needs:
-
Radio frequency wireless connections are established through connecting transmitters and receivers at high frequencies (unlicensed 5.7 Ghz band). They can be applied over a distance of about 80 kilometers or bandwidths up to 50 Mbps. Because of the high frequencies, pairing of the signal and, possibly, encryption, listening in is fairly difficult.
Qi ict features solutions by RAD Data Communications.
-
Optical wireless connections transmit data using modulated laser light in a fashion similar to fiber optic communications. This allows ultra-high speed wireless transmission at full wire-line data rates. Optical wireless may be applied over a distance of about 800 meters, gaining speeds up to 10 Gbps. In addition, the narrow and invisible laser beam makes it the most secure means of wireless communication.
Qi ict uses devices by MRV Communications to engineer optical wireless connections projects.
Together with her installations partner, Cable Tech, Qi ict has engineered numerous wireless connection projects for her clients.
