ICT has become the facilitator of human progress. The influence of information and communication technology on our daily lives keeps expanding rapidly. With it, our dependency on technology expands as well.

ICT has to be available. 24 hours a day. Worldwide. Within companies and stores. At the office as well as at home. A world without ICT is unimaginable in this day and age.

Delivering ICT infrastructures is our business. And 'living uptime' is our ambition.

Being able to make use of the latest technological developments needs to be normal. In order to work more efficiently, to live a pleasant life, to shop more easily, to travel faster - and do whatever else you want to do. Only when knowledge is available to make efficient use of it, technology proves to be profitable.

Qi ict provides that knowledge. Qi ict offers technological solutions only from world renowned brands. It is that combination that enables Qi ict to maintain its position as a market leader, working for a wide variety of users in many different sectors.

Our mission: providing continuous and safe availability of critical data.

Teleworking

A frequently repeated motto is that 'work is something you do, not something you travel to'. Teleworking is a work arrangement in which employees enjoy flexibility in working location and hours, using information and communication technology (ICT's) from a remote location.

This definitely is a very trendy hot issue. A successful teleworking program requires a management style which is based on results and not on close scrutiny of individual employees. This is referred to as management by objectives as opposed to management by observation. It allows the employee to avoid rush hour traffic and work from home or other remote locations either during or outside office hours or in case of an epidemic or calamity at company premises.

Qi ict provides the technical infrastructure for it!

Teleworking enables your employees to connect to and access information on your network from home or any remote location. This can be effected through a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection in addition to an internet connection.

Teleworking requires you to keep a close watch on security issues. Your connections need to be encrypted, a feature most VPN systems offer. In addition to that, Qi ict's policy is to never implement teleworking without applying strong authentication. This greatly reduces the risks of unauthorized access.
