Qi ict project approach
Continuity is key in project management. At Qi ict we are continuously aware of that. We strive daily to guarantee our customer's continuity. Without system failure, without technical hindrance, without downtime.
This is what we call 'Living Uptime'. You will recognize this in all we do. E.g. where new projects or installations are concerned. We make certain we get your project up and running as fast as possible.
Thát is our mission.
There are three stages to each project:
-
Preparation & planning
-
Implementation & installation
-
Quality assurance
1. Preparation: producing a project plan
Upon receiving your order, Qi ict kicks of the project by appointing a project manager. Meetings are called, within our own team as well as with you, in which we discuss all details that were agreed upon within the offering, the details of the design and the project plan to be drawn up. This project plan will state all actions, responsibilities and a timeline presenting project planning. In addition to this, the plan states which Qi ict people are involved in the project, which responsibilities they have and how project communication is performed. In order to confirm all details of the agreement, our project manager will provide you with a copy of the project plan.
Planning and preparation
As soon as the project plan is finalized, execution of it is started. Engineers are being scheduled, our 'bedrijfsburo' (planning office) will plan delivery dates of all hardware and software. Usually, delivery dates to our Qi ict offices are set well in advance of extradition to your company. At the Qi ict lab, all equipment is unpacked, checked for possible damage caused by transport, tested and configured to your project's specifics.
2. Implementation & installation
Our Qi ict engineer visits your site in order to install all equipment necessary. 'Living uptime' characterizes Qi ict's approach to this process. The engineer makes certain to minimize downtime without disturbing your work processes. Our engineers are well equipped for this job. Each Qi ict engineer combines many years of practical experience with a bachelor's degree in e.g. electronics or computer and network engineering technology.
Depending upon complexity and equipment, and taking into account new data turning up during the process of installation, additional tuning will be performed afterwards.
3. Quality assurance: delivery statement
A formal 'delivery statement' is drawn up and signed upon finishing the project. This formal document states which actions have been carried out, which decisions have been made and which system settings have been applied.
The engineer enters all of these details into the service and maintenance management system at Qi ict. Thus, helpdesk and maintenance personnel will be able to efficiently assist you when necessary.
